a few weeks back I joined a local digital design competition which was to design a skin for an iPod nano. (click). the theme for the design was 'vivacity'.

doubt i'll win, but just wanted to give it a try anyway, plus the prizes are tempting. :lol: the left one is for the front, the one on the right for the back. the lines came from a template, i thought i should leave them on so people can visualise the design better. btw the person is supposed to be holding an electric guitar, but I'm not too skilled with a pen tool so it looks like a broom. T_T; ahh well.

Ooh wow, cool design! I would love to have a design like that on my iPod.. ;__; just that i don't have an iPod nano ^^; I like the black one with the bright star, the star is outstanding! Love that! I like the grey flamey like sighs you drew around it, it looks really cool! And the back picture looks really cool! So many color! It got to make you happy! ^^ I like how you drew the shadow, you did so well at the guitar, such a difficult shape. I like how you done the light and shadow effect, looks really good. You did fantastic at this! Awesome work and good luck with the contest! ^^

I think that's actually really nice. I like how clear and smart it is while still being colourful, and how the front is a classy black. Nice styling on the clickwheel. Isn't the left pane the front of the ipod and the right pane with the guitarist the back of the ipod?? cause the connectors at the bottom are mismatched in that case!

yeah, the left one is the front design and the right one is the back design. I don't own an ipod myself, so I wouldn't know about the connectors... anyways the lines and circles were in the template, so I didn't draw those. :P

thank you! >w<;; I'll find out the results tomorrow... I bet there are tons of better designs though. D: oh well. at least I had fun doing it. :D
