the beginning

i got a free one-week subscription! for God knows what reason. but hey, i'm not complaining. thanks to the large thumbnails i managed to skim through the 1000++ messages ... x__x;;

well exams are over now, so i can come here more often. ^_^ i still don't have much time to draw though, because i have a lot of other things to do, heh. :S

oh well. love y'all still.

after a very very long time... i am putting my gallery on HIATUS. im going to stop being optimistic from now on. i will continue checking out people's stuff but im probably going to stop posting art. i dunno how permanent this will be, maybe i wont ever 'come back' except as some shadow fav-ing other people's stuff and watching other deviants.

but i do hope i will be back because i love this community. see y'all around.

no, i'm not dead.

my competition actually ended a week ago but the number of messages waiting for me scared me off DA until now. xD (over 700 deviations waiting to be viewed and commented on. O-O; )

anyway, we did well for the competition, i had oodles of fun, met (weird) new people. if you like to find out more about my robotics competition: click here . if im not wrong there's a similar competition in a few other countries including the US... i'm not too sure.

i havent had time to finish my CG... (too much schoolwork) and im not really in the mood. i dont want to force myself cos i like the picture and i dont want to mess it up. i've been doing more of sketches and doodles lately - on the bus, in class, even in the toilet. i dont like to clutter my DA gallery with all that junk, so i post most of my doodles in my blog. there's a lot of personal stuff in there though, so you probably won't know what the hell i'm talking about.

another reason why i'm not too committed to my DA gallery right now is cos i'm in an experimental phase... recently i went into video-editing, and i must say it's quite cool. B) i'm also saving up for a digital camera, so i might go into photography and photo manipulations.

but i still enjoy drawing the most so please don't expect my DA gallery to turn into a photo album, haha. if you don't see any updates in my main gallery, you should check my scraps, or go to my blog.

oh well. anyway. rurouni kenshin is airing on AXN for the 726363525th time. I have missed 2 and a half episodes so far. *hysterical screams* XoX (NUUUU)

Thankfully, I found out that there's a shop selling the whole series on DVD for 90 bucks. xD gawd. better start saving

but right now I'm still saving for the OVAs. 50 bucks. not that steep, but I'm goin broke by the days. I'm eyeing the manga as well.. but the imported english version is about $15 each. (RAH!) although, come to think of it, I'd rather buy the original Jap version and use the online translation. The chinese version is around $5, but the Jap covers are so much nicer. *o*

Ambitions:
- Learn Chinese!
- Learn Japanese!
- Go to Japan!
- Draw something decent. .-.
- Do a comic strip. ^^

Just a short update -- I'm gonna be busy till around mid-March cos of my first and last competition of the year. I want to do well so I'm abandoning this place for a while. That's why I've been so inactive. (I can only type this now cos I'm on CNY break. ) So see you then!
