the beginning

I didn't know that my 1 month subscription comes with a print feature. xD; when I submitted my latest deviation and was offered to create it into a print I was like... 'cool! ' I was really curious what it was like so I tried it. It's not like I expect anyone to buy the doodle lol. xP

Feeling rather glum and nervous at the moment due to RL reasons. sigh. hope everything turns out well tomorrow.

(sorry for being vague. D: )

anyway a 1-week end of term holiday is approaching so hopefully I will get some relatively decent art done. yay for my once-in-a-blue-moon updates.

and the end

well, a new year is upon us again! I'm excited and nervous at the same time, cos I'll be starting at a new school. I'm definitely gonna miss all my friends (and even teachers *GASP*) but I hope that won't keep me from getting to know new people.

at the beginning of this year I resolved to draw more and CG more. needless to say I failed on that miserably. =_=; but a brand new year is on its way, and I've decided that I like digital media enough to continue to work on it, although maybe not 'seriously'. but it's an enjoyable hobby. so I hope I'll be more active here next year. xD

at the same time I also want to concentrate more on my real life as well... I need to expand my social circle lol. xD and plus I will be at junior college next year, which is something like halfway in between senior year at high school and freshman year at college. heh. so I definitely need to concentrate on schoolwork.

well I dun want to bore all of you. so happy new year everyone, have a great one!

Merry Christmas to everyone here! Thank you for having been a part of my life for about 2 years, now. I know I probably don't deserve most of the comments/favs/devwatches that I get, especially given my hiatus now, but thanks anyway.

my 'O' level exams ended yesterday, FINALLY. (I live in a country which used to be a British colony, so we follow the British exam system.) me and a group of classmates went for celebration dinner afterwards, sat down and talked for maybe an hour, walked around half-dazed for maybe a few more hours... and finally went home at 11 lol. it was kind of nightmarish, cos at that time i was about to pass out from exhaustion, i was in a super long taxi queue, and i was still carrying my school things... my parents literally saved me when they called me and picked me up, i think.

now i can safely say that i will be submitting a proper deviation some time soon. after one year of delay. lol. xD

oh well. happy belated halloween by the way. i spent that horrible day studying because it was one week before my exams and i had been procrastinating before that, haha. oh the woes of laziness. D:

[edit] I looked over the pics in my gallery and felt like scrapping almost everything. haha. and I realised that I don't have a definite 'style'.... which worries me a bit. :S

I just scrapped a bunch of stuff, deleted a bunch of stuff... I noticed that ironically I hate my new stuff even more than my older deviations. I felt like deleting practically all my deviations, when I realised that I only hate most of them because they need some serious polishing. So I'm prolly gonna work on that after my exams.

I'm working on a picture so I'm not really dead. really. It's just that it's getting more and more difficult to sit down for a few hours and work on a picture, because my exams are coming in about a week. yes. ouch.

on a happier note, I'm giving myself a break after my exams, which end around late september. so I should have some free time then. After that it's back to mugging, because I have my 'O' levels exams in November. T__________T;

meanwhile I'll log on once in a while to drop a comment or two. The next time I submit something will be, like, september. aha. xD;
